Are you still trying to complete that online CPD course you signed up to weeks ago?
Struggling to get time away from practice to complete the Practical Ultrasound course in person?
Let us do the leg work and come to YOU...
There is nothing I like more, than visiting the far flung places of the UK to meet vets CPD requirements while up skilling the whole team and building confidence in ultrasound scanning in Small Animal practice.
Luckily I'm based in the North West, with a great network of roads, so I am less than 2 hours travel from a vast number of practices. I can travel further afield if necessary, so please let me know where you are based and I can arrange overnight accomodation to be able to complete a 5 hour In Practice ultrasound training session for your team.

What do I find the most rewarding on my travels?
The best thing about providing in practice training, is getting to know those I'm teaching, and watching their progress and confidence be transformed. My emergency scanning course for up to 8 vets (or vet nurses!) works out at less than £120 per person, or £24 per hour. Bear in mind, this might give the team the skills they need to make life saving diagnoses in emergency situations. It's a no brainer and a great investment in their time.
Why In Practice training, when I could train more people in a Practical Workshop or Training Day?
Well, I do still run the odd workshop, often for emergency scanning or for locums on a weekend.
But I prefer In Practice training days as vets tend to be much more focused and ready to learn, with their own ultrasound machine in familiar surroundings. Also the dogs (and sometimes even cats!) tend to be a lot more relaxed and compliant when they are in an environment they are used to. I make the most of new models, including virtual reality models, but nothing beats learning ultrasound hands-on, with a real pet.
